I saw this product featured as "New and Notable"- the combination of sounds in this recording, Thunderstorm, Chimes, and Ocean Waves captured my attention.

Recently I've been reading about the experience of "Nada" during Meditation.
Nada is defined as Spontaneous inner sounds that may be heard during advanced stages of meditation; nada may take the form of sounds such as bells, blowing of the conch, sound of the ocean and thunder.

Immediately I got so excited with this idea. Perhaps this is the reason why when we are in the presence and magnificence of Nature we immediately feel content, happy, peaceful and at ease. This feeling always arises from a deep space or experience within.

There is something magical about standing in the middle of a thunderstorm, something very special about meditating or sitting quietly by the Ocean.
It is as if the sounds of Nature evoke the inner experience of deep meditation, of Nada Meditation, very naturally and effortlessly.

I found this excerpt and might be helpful:
"Metaphysically, the mystic sounds of the Eternal, of which the highest is the transcendent or Soundless Sound, Paranada, the first vibration from which creation emanates. Paranada is so pure and subtle that it cannot be identified to the denser regions of the mind. From Paranada comes Pranava, Aum, and further evolutes of nada. These are experienced by the meditator as the nadanadi shakti, "the energy current of sound," heard pulsing through the nerve system as a constant high-pitched hum, much like a Tamboura, a swarm of bees or a shruti box.
Listening to the inner sounds is a contemplative practice, called nada upasana, "worship through sound," nada anusandhana, "cultivation of inner sound," or nada yoga."
I think this label might me on to something. As I browse I see there are a few recordings out on the basis of "Nada" or sounds for deep meditation and deep relaxation. Such asTambouraChanting Omamongst others.

This recording is beautifully done. I find that the sounds help my mind become more still and content within itself. Therefore I can sit quietly for a longer period of time.

I am grateful to see this label doing their homework. They are coming out with innovative products that are not only genuinely helpful but reflect the wisdom and power within this ancient practices and cultures.

These are seriously good chimes, the notes are tuned perfectly with each other creating a wonderful tapestry of sound.
I love to lay down and simply let the vibrations wash over me. I feel the sounds are very healing.
Also it is good for meditation practice.

The quality of the recording is A+ I love to play this at home, it creates a warm atmosphere at home without having to spend all the money a high quality chime would cost.

Also I like to use it for meditation of course, since the two tracks are nice and long. My favorite track to meditate with is the one with the ocean waves and the chimes and the thunderstorm. Really primal and beautiful.

I have a fountain, which trickles water as floating bells "bump" into stationary bells. It sits by my bed. If the water level isn't kept at the "perfect" level, a certain reduction in tonal quality is noted. Also, for the "trickle" to be noticeable, the water must be diverted more toward the "upward" spout, which slows the water flow down thus the bells don't travel around the bowl at as quick a speed as they do if the "trickle" flow is adjusted downward. This cd is an excellent solution to that problem. I listened to the preview, thinking it sounded pretty good. I was right. I have absolutely no trouble falling asleep. The only "problem" with this cd is I have yet to hear the whole thing.
